Solid honey oak armoire with glass shelving painted in a Baroque palette using acrylic paints.

Big Blind's palette interpretation of Caravaggio's "Jules slaying Holofernes" and Poussin's " Venus and Adonis."  characterized by bold colors and stark contrast as well as its dramatic, ornate, and emotionally intense style.

The title "Death, God & Ambivalence" titled by Blind from memories and impact of his Christian upbringing.

 17th and 18th century specifically Italian Baroque with influences from Romanticism and Renaissance periods.

This piece was appraised at 72,000.00. 

When sold $30,000.00 will be donated to Acadia Rescue. This non-profit runs out of North Carolina saving dogs primarily Staffordshire Terriers from kill shelters. Big Blind has 4 dogs two of which came from this organization.
